I’m Sally Sandler, a visual artist living in San Diego, California. As a Baby Boomer, I’ve lived through and breathed the 20th Century modern art era. This was reinforced through extensive art history studies and by exploring contemporary art museums. From these experiences I bring an eye for modern aesthetics to my photography.

As a result, I'm a photographer who’s drawn to the abstract qualities of urban areas. I hunt for subjects like rooflines, reflections in doors and windows, rust and urban decay, random blocks of light, electric towers, and concrete forms. I can transform what I discover into something no one else has created: a unique image inspired by modern art.
